The Wellhead

A statement of intent...

Welcome traveler - welcome to our home and the covenstead of the Sacred Wellhead.

Through the various pages and sections of this site we hope to provide information, essays and articles on various aspects of the Craft - but with a particular emphasis on the issues (sic.) of Tradition, Mystery, Polarity and Gender (and from our particular perspective as a gay couple who run a coven and work within the Alexandrian Wiccan Tradition).

We would wish this site to provide information, guidance, pause for thought, resources, links, humour...

What you will not find in such a public forum are lists of spells, rituals or magickal techniques - if that is what you seek then you will easily find many sites and books that will promise to provide you with magickal "quick-fixes" to your problems or your Spiritual Search. What we feel is lacking in many of these is an understanding of the Mystery and Tradition of the Craft - the beauty and depth of the Religion and the Alchemy that it works on the Soul; an understanding that comes from being rooted in the history and teachings of a Tradition that is passed from Teacher to Initiate - and it is that missing element which we humbly wish to begin to attempt to fill here...

Magick and the British Traditional Craft are serious pursuits - if you wish to take a step upon that path then please contact us (via the Elders section below): through the Tradition we have contacts around the world, and we may be able to help put you in touch with a reputable Coven.

We apologise that some sections are a little barer than others. We hope to rectify this as soon as possible (and coven duties allow).
